Saturday’s card at Belmont at the Big A will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $28,026 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s nine-race program.

Following the conclusion of live racing on June 28, Aqueduct Racetrack will remain open for simulcasting through Monday, September 7.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $501.48 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Friday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 4 with a win from Aristide Maillol [No. 6, $7.88] in a six-furlong state-bred maiden claimer with Jose Lezcano aboard for Hall of Fame trainer Bill Mott.

Jockey Flavien Prat navigated the Chad Brown-trained Iron Sight [No. 4, $4.16*] to victory next in a 1 3/16-mile turf maiden in Race 5. The following race saw Jaime Rodriguez pilot the Horacio De Paz-trained English Castle [No. 4, $24.18] to score at odds of 11-1 in a 1 1/16-mile turf allowance for New York-breds in Race 6.

In Race 7, a 6 1/2-furlong claimer, Ricardo Santana, Jr. rode Sebastianthe First [No. 9, $19.66] to victory for trainer Jose Delgado. In Race 8, a 1 3/16-mile starter optional claimer on turf, Carc Brothers [No. 4, $3.34*] improved to 3-for-3 overall for trainer Rob Atras.

With just 3-of-9 horses covered heading into the Race 9 finale, a 1 1/16-mile turf maiden claimer, Levi Warrior [No. 3, $25.02] successfully closed up the rail under Hall of Famer John Velazquez for trainer Mark Hennig, triggering the carryover.

Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 6 at approximately 3:39 p.m. Eastern. First post for the 11-race card, which features the $150,000 Ashley T. Cole in Race 8, is 1:10 p.m.
