Pick 6 carryover of $22K on Saturday at Belmont Park
Saturday’s card at Belmont Park will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $22,680 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s nine-race card.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $420.01 to bettors who selected 4-of-6 winners correctly.
The sequence kicked off in Race 4 with Princess Amari [No. 2, $43.50] graduating on debut for trainer Miguel Clement with Samuel Marin up in the Widener turf maiden. The Rob Atras-trained Ambition [No. 6, $10.96] followed with a win in Race 5, a 1 1/16-mile claiming tilt, under the guidance of Chris Elliott.
Race 6 saw the Flavien Prat-piloted Miracle Morrow [No. 12, $11.44] graduate in a 6 1/2-furlong inner turf maiden for conditioner Rodolphe Brisset, one race before Illustrating [No. 1, $11.18] did the same in a 1 1/16-mile Widener turf maiden optional claimer with Ricardo Santana, Jr. up for trainer Mike Maker.
Manny Franco visited the winner’s circle in Race 8 atop the Linda Rice-trained Adrian [No. 6, $7*] in a one-mile starter allowance as the lone favorite in the sequence.
With the carryover already ensured heading into the Race 9 finale, Luckbeourlady [No. 3, $26.82] stormed up the rail under Cesar Gonzalez to prevail in a three-way photo finish for Clement.
Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 6 at approximately 2:50 p.m. Eastern, and includes two stakes in the $175,000 Bricks and Mortar in Race 8 and the Grade 3, $200,000 Hill Prince in Race 10. First post for the 11-race card is 12:05 p.m. Eastern.
