Saratoga Race Course to conclude summer meet with Fan Appreciation Week

The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) will thank its fans with special offers on tickets, hospitality, food and beverages at historic Saratoga Race Course during the final week of the 2026 summer meet, Wednesday, September 2 through Labor Day, Monday, September 7.

“Fan Appreciation Week is our way to thank our fans for their unwavering support of Saratoga year in and year out,” said Kevin Quinn, NYRA VP of Sales and Hospitality. “We’re happy to provide numerous special offers as we close out another unforgettable summer at the Spa.”

Labor Day Weekend will feature a special first post time of 12:05 p.m. on Saturday-Monday highlighted by four graded stakes and seven stakes overall across the three-day holiday weekend. 

The final premium giveaway of the summer meet will take place on Labor Day, Monday, September 7, when fans will receive a Saratoga flannel shirt. The red-and-black cotton flannel button-up features a Saratoga logo embroidered above the left pocket and will be available in medium and extra-large sizes with paid admission, while supplies last.

Fans will also find special savings at the Official Saratoga Merchandise store, located within the large tent across from the escalator, beginning Friday, September 4, where select items will be available for 50 to 75 percent off their original prices, while supplies last.

Fan Appreciation Week will include savings on a variety of ticket offers, including:

• Buy one premium reserved seat in the Michelob Ultra Stretch and get one free on the same day.
• Buy one reserved table in either the Pick Six Vodka Picnic Paddock or Festival Tent and get one free on the same day.
• Enjoy a Family 4-pack for $99, which includes four Grandstand reserved seats and a $10 food and beverage credit per person.
• Enjoy tickets in the Rail at the 1863 Club for $99 on Saturday through Monday.
• Save $50 on tickets in the Founders Room, excluding Saturday.
• Experience a Saratoga Box (D-level) for $199, including $50 in loaded value.

Multiple food and beverage specials will also be offered during Fan Appreciation Week, including $3 hot dogs, $3 Saratoga Chips and Dip, and $3 bottled soda and water at various concessions as well as:

• 50% savings on draft beer at the Miller Time Fourstardave Sports Bar.

Labor Day Weekend will be highlighted by a multitude of graded stakes.

The 122nd renewal of the Grade 1, $300,000 Spendthrift Farm Hopeful will move to Sunday, September 6, after having previously being carded on Labor Day. Sunday’s action will also include the Grade 3, $225,000 Prioress, supported by the $150,000 Disco Partner.

Saturday, September 5, will feature the Grade 1, $300,000 Spinaway and Grade 3, $225,000 With Anticipation.

The summer meet will conclude on Monday, September 7, with the $200,000 Funny Cide and $200,000 Gio Ponti.

Breakfast at Saratoga and Backstretch tram tours are not offered on Labor Day.
