Cooler Policy

Fans with regulation size coolers must ensure all ice is contained within sealed bags upon arrival. Designated inspection lanes are located at Gates B and C. Fans with coolers must enter through either gate.

Breakfast at Saratoga

Offered daily from 7 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., and presented by CDTA, fans can enjoy a buffet breakfast during morning training. Reservations are not required.

Pick 6 Carryover

Wednesday’s card will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $192,498 with the $1 Pick 6 getting underway in Race 4. 

Adirondack Day

Presented by the Adirondack Regional Tourism Council, fans will enjoy local products and attractions representative of the Adirondack region of New York State. The event is free to attend inside the Taste NY Pavilion for all fans on track. 

Community Outreach Booth

The New York Council on Problem Gambling is dedicated to increasing public awareness about problem and disordered gambling and advocating for support services and treatment for those adversely affected.

Birdstone

Thursday’s feature is the Listed $200,000 Birdstone, a 1 3/4-mile stamina test for 3-year-olds and up.

Saratoga Breakfast and Thoroughbred Farm Tours

Presented by New York Thoroughbred Breeders, Inc. (NYTB) the weekly lineup features Old Friends at Cabin Creek on Thursdays, Old Tavern Farm on Fridays and Sugar Plum Farm on Saturdays. The package includes breakfast, transportation, tour of a horse farm, and admission to Saratoga. Tickets may be purchased at NYRA.com.

New York State High School Champions Honored

NYRA will celebrate the outstanding achievements of Capital Region student-athletes by recognizing four New York State high school baseball and softball championship programs with special ceremonies in the Winner’s Circle. 

Saratoga Catholic and Averill Park baseball will join Averill Park and Chatham softball in being recognized for winning New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) titles this past spring. 

Sugar Plum Farm Foundation

NYRA will welcome children from Camp Sugar Plum as part of the NYRA Leg Up! program, which provides students and young people with a hands-on introduction to the thoroughbred industry. Students will watch training on the main track, tour the backstretch, visit the paddock and learn from industry professionals. The Sugar Plum Farm Foundation was founded by Sugar Plum Farm Owner Robin Malatino in memory of her late husband, Anthony "Tony" Malatino. The nonprofit organization provides transformative educational experiences through agriculture, entrepreneurship, and hands-on learning, and aspires to inspire children to build confidence, develop lifelong skills, and imagine a future filled with possibility.

NYRA STAR Kids Club

The Students of Thoroughbred Racing (NYRA STAR) program is offered Thursdays through Sundays and features tours of the Paddock and Winner’s Circle during Races 1 through 5, in addition to morning tours of the backstretch. NYRA STAR provides children ages 12 and under, and their families, with insider access into the world of thoroughbred racing. Membership is free of charge. Registration can be completed online at NYRA.com/STAR or in person at the NYRA STAR booth in the Family Zone.

Saratoga Low Roller Contest

Held exclusively on track each Thursday during the summer meet, fans can pre-register outside the Miller Time Fourstardave Sports Bar. There is a $40 buy-in, of which $30 will go to the player’s bankroll and $10 to the prize pool. The winner will receive a Saratoga Low Roller championship T-shirt in addition to the cash prize.

Taste NY Pavilion

Fans 21 and older will enjoy New York craft beers, cider, wines and spirits every Thursday through Sunday at the Taste NY Pavilion, located inside Gate A at the Top of the Stretch, featuring products exclusively produced in the Empire State.

National Prosecco Day

Fans can celebrate National Prosecco Day with complimentary samples of Mionetto Prosecco at the Mionetto Gazebo. Available from noon to 4 p.m. while supplies last, for fans 21 and older.

Community Outreach Booth

The New York Racetrack Chaplaincy ministers to backstretch workers and nurtures their spiritual needs while providing essential necessities.

FRIDAY, AUGUST 14

Smart and Fancy

Friday’s Listed $200,000 Smart and Fancy, a 5 1/2-furlong Mellon turf sprint for fillies and mares 3-years-old and up, headlines the racing action at the Spa.

NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer

Fans 21 and older can enjoy complimentary samples of NÜTRL Vodka Seltzer at the NÜTRL Gazebo from noon to 4 p.m., while supplies last. 

Community Outreach Booth

North Country Wild Care aims to assist wildlife rehabilitators in their work across nine counties throughout the greater Capital Region. 

SATURDAY, AUGUST 15

Christophe Clement Turf

Saturday’s card features the Grade 1, $750,000 Christophe Clement Turf, previously known as the Sword Dancer Invitational before being renamed to honor the life and legacy of the Hall of Fame trainer who won the prestigious turf route a record five times in his distinguished career. Clement, who was posthumously inducted into the National Museum of Racing Hall of Fame on August 7, died last year following a battle with a rare form of eye cancer. The Christophe Clement Turf offers a “Win and You’re In” berth to the Grade 1 Breeders’ Cup Turf in October at Keeneland.

FOX Saratoga Saturday presented by Oceania Cruises

FOX Saratoga Saturday presented by Oceania Cruises will feature live coverage of the Grade 1, $750,000 Christophe Clement Turf on FOX from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. 

Horse Sense

Fans can meet a retired thoroughbred on Saturday and Sunday from noon to 2 p.m. at Horse Sense located inside Gate A. 

Community Outreach Booth

Therapeutic Horses of Saratoga is a nonprofit organization supporting second careers for retired racehorses in leading safe and meaningful lives. 

SUNDAY, AUGUST 16

Admission gates open at 11 a.m. with first post at 1:10 p.m. 

Mahony

Week 7 concludes with the Grade 3, $225,000 Mahony, a turf sprint for sophomores. 

Second Annual Corgi Cup Races

The cutest show on dirt returns for the second annual Corgi Cup, featuring short legs and big personalities in a celebration of the Corgi community. Competition begins with five qualifying heats, including a "Maiden Special Weight" race exclusively for first-time competitors. The qualifying events will take place after the first, third and fifth thoroughbred races of the afternoon. The top two finishers from each qualifying heat will advance to the championship showdown after the seventh race as participants vie for the title of 2026 Corgi Cup champion.

New for 2026 is the NYRA Bets Speed Trial Championship. Corgis will compete throughout the afternoon in a timed 20-yard dash near the Big Red Spring for the title of NYRA Bets Speed Trial Champion.

Corgi Pin Giveaway

All fans in attendance will receive a commemorative Corgi Cup pin, featuring a festive design in celebration of the 2026 Corgi Cup, free with paid admission, while supplies last.

National Rum Day

In celebration of National Rum Day, fans 21 and older will enjoy $10 rum cocktails featuring Mount Gay, the official rum of Saratoga Race Course. The specially priced rum cocktails will be available at bars throughout the venue.

Sunday Specials

Fans will enjoy $3 hot dogs and save 50% on domestic and premium beer, water and soda at the High Noon Clubhouse Grill, Finish Line Grill and Track Snacks. Additional specials may be available on select items at these locations. 

Introduction to Handicapping

Offered every Sunday in the Paddock Suite, fans can learn betting strategies and tips from an expert handicapper. Tickets start at $95 and include admission, Post Parade program, and a table seat within the climate-controlled, shared suite overlooking the saddling area.
