Live Oak Plantation’s And One More Time captured the first turf stakes of 2026 on The New York Racing Association, Inc. (NYRA) circuit, leading each step of the way en route to a three-quarter-length victory in Friday's Listed $150,000 Plenty of Grace, a one-mile inner turf test for older fillies and mares, at Aqueduct Racetrack.

Trained by dual Hall of Famer Mark Casse, the 4-year-old Omaha Beach dark bay returned to winning ways after three straight losses in races won by Destino d'Oro, and notched her second career stakes win, adding to a Grade 1 score as a juvenile in Woodbine Racetrack’s Natalma that highlighted a three-race win streak. She entered from a fifth in the nine-furlong Grade 2 Hillsborough on March 7 at Gulfstream Park where she was defeated one length after setting the pace under returning rider Hall of Famer Javier Castellano.

"I liked the distance today, I think last time at Tampa was a mile and an eighth, a little bit too far for her,” the veteran rider said. “I think today at the mile distance with a good post, I didn’t see much speed in the race, Do Gooder inside had speed a little bit, [Jose] Lezcano’s horse [Accent], but my horse got the jump in the first turn, got my position, secured my spot, dictated the pace which was key to win the race.”

And One More Time exited the outermost post 6 and made her way to the front alongside the Jose Lezcano-piloted Accent, who broke just to her inside and crossed over to assume rail position heading into the first turn. And One More Time was a half-length ahead of Accent and angled inward, causing Accent to steady and Oversubscribed to run up on her heels as she raced just behind.

And One More Time was alone up front as she marked the opening quarter-mile in 23.92 seconds over the firm footing, but was pressured on her outside by Do Gooder as she clocked a half-mile in 48.69. The field was midway through the turn as Dylan Davis roused Al Jafara from her mid-pack stalking position to swing three-wide and throw her hat in the ring while Oversubscribed waited for room along the rail.

Three-quarters elapsed in 1:12.99 and Manny Franco swung Oversubscribed off the rail and around the pacesetter to make her bid as Do Gooder retreated and Al Jafara kept on willingly. Oversubscribed gave game chase down the stretch, but And One More Time had enough in reserve to keep her rival at bay and cross the wire first in a final time of 1:36.68.

Oversubscribed finished 3 1/2 lengths ahead of Al Jafara, who was three-quarter-lengths better than Accent, with each of the fillies to complete the superfecta trained by five-time Eclipse Award-winner Chad Brown. Relaxx and Do Gooder completed the order of finish, while Storm Miami, who is entered in the Dahlia tomorrow at Laurel Park, and main track-only entrant Just Music were scratched.

An objection lodged by Jose Lezcano regarding the incident in the first turn resulted in no change to the order of finish.

Castellano said he did not feel Lezcano was in too tight in the scuffle for position heading into the first turn.

“She broke good out of the gate, I don’t want to take away anything that comes easy. I knew Jose Lezcano tried to get the same spot, but the turn is coming, it’s only, seems to me, one horse can make it,” Castellano explained. “I gave him plenty of room, you can see the head-on. You can see the slow motion, had a big gap right there. I never came over, but he was really tight, really close to the rail, he anticipated himself right in the moment, the turn, when he grabbed the horse, he didn’t make the turn.”

Lezcano, aboard Accent for the first time in the afternoon, said his filly’s chances were hampered by the incident.

“I got pinched pretty good in the first turn and my filly lost position – and the filly right behind me, too,” Lezcano said. “She completely took the spot of my horse. I was still there and she completely got into me on the turn.”

Shane Tripp, Casse’s New York assistant, said he was pleased with the way And One More Time came into the race from Florida.

“Mark’s had her down there this winter and they got her ready. We just breezed her the one time here, but they did a good job,” he said. “She had a start already and we were pretty happy to have her here. Great ride. She’s got some natural speed and she’s very honest.”

Bred in Kentucky by William Harrigan and Mike Pietrangelo, And One More Time was a $750,000 purchase at the 2023 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga Select Yearling Sale and is out of the Blame mare Complicated, making her a half-sister to multiple graded stakes-winner Honor D Lady. She banked $82,500 in victory while returning $4.28 on a $2 win ticket as the even-money favorite.
