Pick 6 carryover of $13K on Saturday at Aqueduct Racetrack

Saturday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $13,408 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s eight-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $446.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
Friday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with a dominant win from filly Naive Melody [No. 5, $6.20*] against the boys in a six-furlong optional claimer for New York-breds with Hall of Famer Javier Castellano aboard for trainer Wesley Ward.
Manny Franco was aboard the next winner with the Ilkay Kantarmaci-conditioned Empty Tomb [No. 5, $6.70] capturing a one-mile claimer, in Race 4. The next race saw Eric Cancel navigate Last Mango [No. 6, $10.60] to victory in a six-furlong maiden claimer for trainer Jeremiah Englehart, in Race 5.
In Race 6, Kendrick Carmouche piloted Protected [No. 4, $22.60] to victory in a 6 1/2-furlong maiden for trainer John Kimmel. In Race 7, a six-furlong state-bred turf allowance, Friend Ofthe Devil [No. 7, $10.20] cruised to victory for jockey Chris Elliott and trainer Carlos Martin.
With just 4-of-12 horses covered heading into the Race 8 finale, a one-mile turf test for state-bred maidens, the Pat Quick-trained longshot Alan Turing [No. 9, $101.50] prevailed under Omar Hernandez Moreno, triggering the carryover.
Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 5 at approximately 3:19 p.m. Eastern. First post for the 10-race card is 1:10 p.m, with the $125,000 Woodhaven slated for Race 6.
