Pick 6 carryover of $17K on Friday at Aqueduct Racetrack
Friday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $17,240 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Thursday’s eight-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $212.84 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.
Thursday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with a win from Hello Beauty [No. 6, $10.08] in a 1 1/8-mile New York-bred allowance with Flavien Prat aboard for trainer Patrick Quick.
Trainer Linda Rice sent out the next winner as the Sahin Civaci-piloted and New York-bred Good Cop [No. 4, $6.50] captured a one-turn mile maiden claimer against open company, in Race 4. The next race saw Jaime Rodriguez and Heavenly Light [No. 5, $9.10] win a one-turn mile starter allowance, featuring New York-breds, for trainer Horacio De Paz, in Race 5.
In Race 6, Flavien Prat visited the winner’s circle for the third time on the card aboard Oath of Omerta [No. 7, $6.46] in a seven-furlong state-bred starter allowance for trainer Jena Antonucci. In Race 7, a one-turn mile state-bred allowance optional claimer, Alan Turing [No. 7, $9] gave trainer Quick his second win on the day with Manny Franco in the saddle.
With only 3-of-8 horses covered in the Race 8 finale, a six-furlong claimer, Jorge Vargas, Jr. navigated Mo Attitude [No. 5, $17.06] to victory for trainer Edward Coletti, Jr., triggering the carryover.
Friday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:11 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
