Pick 6 carryover of $19K on Saturday, Gotham Day, at Aqueduct Racetrack

Saturday’s Gotham Day card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $19,875 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s eight-race program.  
 
The $1 Pick 6 returned $195.35 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.  
 
Friday's Pick 6 sequence kicked off in Race 3 with a win from She’s Cool [No. 2, $15.22] in a starter optional claimer going a one-turn mile with Manny Franco aboard for trainer Chris Englehart. 
 
Trainer Robert Falcone, Jr., sent out the next winner as the Flavien Prat-piloted Nilo’s Rose [No. 4, $4.84*] captured a one-turn mile claimer, in Race 4. The next race saw Jose Lezcano and Alias [No. 5, $5.96] win a 6 1/2-furlong maiden claimer for trainer Linda Rice’s second win of the day, in Race 5.  
 
In Race 6, Prat visited the winner’s circle for the second time on the card aboard Big Hat Willie [No. 6, $4.60*] in a 6 1/2-furlong claimer for trainer Fernando Abreu. In Race 7, a one-turn mile starter optional claimer, the Saffie Joseph, Jr.-trained No Bees [No. 6, $8.84] proved victorious with Sahin Civaci in the saddle.  
 
With 3-of-7 horses covered in the Race 8 finale, a 6 1/2-furlong claimer, Ricardo Santana, Jr. navigated the New York-bred Probable Angle [No. 4, $17.12] to a photo finish victory for trainer Bruce Brown, clinching the carryover.  
 
Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 5 at approximately 2:43 p.m. Eastern. First post is 12:40 p.m. for the 10-race card which features the Listed $200,000 Busher, a Kentucky Oaks qualifier in Race 2, the Grade 3, $175,000 Tom Fool in Race 4, the Listed $150,000 Stymie in Race 8 and the Grade 3, $300,000 Gotham in Race 10, which provides 50-25-15-10-5 Kentucky Derby qualifying points to the top-five finishers.
