Pick 6 carryover of $15K into Saturday’s card at Aqueduct

Mary Eddy Feb 21 2025

Saturday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $15,931 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Friday’s eight-race program.

The $1 Pick 6 returned $197.50 to bettors who selected 5-of-6 winners correctly.

Friday’s sequence began in Race 3 with America’s Honor [No. 2, $3.30*] winning a 6 1/2-furlong maiden claimer with Manny Franco up for trainer Gregg Sacco. Race 4 saw the Jose Lezcano-piloted Big Rich [No. 5, $7.70] capture a nine-furlong claiming tilt for trainer Jimmy Ferraro.

In Race 5, Sacco scored another win with the Eric Cancel-piloted I See You Lookin [No. 1, $18.20] in a six-furlong claimer, one race before Romero Maragh guided Dot’s Dollar [No. 7, $8.40] to win Race 6, a six-furlong claiming sprint, for conditioner Gustavo Rodriguez.

Race 7 saw Sacco and Cancel team up again to win the featured six-furlong optional claimer when Crazy Mason [No. 3, $5.90] went from last-to-first with a strong late run to provide Sacco his third win on the day.

With six horses covered in the 10-horse Race 8 finale, the David Duggan-trained Mo for the King [No. 6, $15.20] earned a pacesetting victory under Romero Maragh in the seven-furlong state-bred maiden to trigger the carryover.

Saturday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 5 at approximately 2:43 p.m. Eastern. First post for the 10-race card, which features the $150,000 Heavenly Prize Invitational in Race 3, is 12:40 p.m.
