Pick 6 carryover of $16K on Sunday at Aqueduct Racetrack

Sunday’s card at Aqueduct Racetrack will be bolstered by a Pick 6 carryover of $16,802 after the multi-race wager went unsolved on Saturday’s nine-race program.
The $1 Pick 6 returned $509 to bettors who selected 4-of-6 winners correctly.
Saturday’s sequence kicked off with longshot Collect Dattt [No. 7, $33.80], who upset a claiming sprint for older fillies and mares in Race 4 with Ruben Silvera at the helm for trainer Robert Johnston.
Aleah Aleah [No. 1, $8.80] utilized a prominent trip to score in a Race 5 claiming sprint for older horses with Christopher Elliott up for trainer Michelle Nevin. Striker Has Dial [No. 5, $7.30] followed in Race 6 by taking an allowance optional-claiming sprint for older fillies and mares under Kendrick Carmouche for conditioner Horacio De Paz.
De Paz doubled up in Race 7, a 6 1/2-furlong maiden claimer for New York-bred sophomore fillies, as the Luis Rivera, Jr.-piloted Honey in the Bank [No. 3, $38.80] staved off the late bid of 61-1 shot Sweet Lilac.
Locke and Key [No. 6, $14.60], with Lane Luzzi up for trainer James Ryerson, prevailed in a thrilling finish over Cut the Cord and Colloquy as New York-breds ran 1-2-3 in Race 8, an open one-turn mile allowance for older horses.
With the carryover already confirmed ahead of Race 9, a one-turn mile maiden for sophomores, Superpower [No. 5, $76.50] provided yet another upset with Eric Cancel up for trainer Christophe Clement.
Sunday’s Pick 6 will begin in Race 3 at approximately 2:08 p.m. Eastern. First post for the eight-race card is 1:10 p.m.
