In the 10h race at Saratoga on 08/16/2024 there was a Steward’s inquiry. The incident occurred during the stretch run and involved the winner #9 Vino Rouge who finished 1st and the #4 Wrigleyville who finished 4th. After reviewing the replay and questioning the riders involved, In the opinion of the Stewards #9 Vino Rouge veered out near the 1/8 pole causing the #4 Wrigleyville to check sharply losing forward momentum. #4 Wrigleyville finished 4th by a half a length. As a result, #9 Vino Rouge was disqualified from 1st place and placed 4th behind Wrigleyville.
